Hello, I'm searching for one of my rellies and so far can't find him. However a lot of people with his name have the occupation of M.S. or possibly M.J. or M.T. Could anyone tell me what this could be? Thanks Toni |

Thanks for that. I knew it would be obvious but couldn't think. My relly is an engineer of some sort and I've been trying to get MS to fit in to that area. Thanks Toni |

Toni, whats his name, so others can have a go? (Though, Im no one to shout, cant find my own 2 most important people.) Thing is, Ive noticed Male Servant can mean an employee, not someone actually waiting on the household - as in someone working for you and living in the household. Ive found a butcher working for another butcher (master) and living with the family but down as 'servant' |

Well, the 1841 is less helpful than the other years but which one are you particularly looking for? |

We can't make a proper search without having an idea of when these people were born. Reg |

Hi Silver You can't search by occupation on Ancestry, it's a question of viewing the original image and trying to work out what the occupation is. |
