Im being a nuisance today! Could anyone see if they can find a Rebecca (wife brn abt 1871) and a Henry William Johnson (husband) I would think he was born abt same time. Possibly London/Surrey area Many many thanks Annie

I've found one with a husband Harry, but it's always risky saying that must be it, when she and hubby might not be both at the same address on census night! Do you know anything more about either of them?? Place of birth for either, maybe?? Merry

Hi Merry thats all I know, they had a daughter Louisa born 1894, he was a policeman according to Louisas marriage certificate of 1925 although retired then. Annie

Where did Louisa marry? I take it she had no middle name? How do you know her mother's name? Merry

sorry had to go and feed people! I did a look up on LDS and found a birth 1894 with father Henry Johnson and mother Rebecca could have been a red herring! am trying to plot things using a marriage certificate so I know its a bit hit and miss, could find a Louisa Johnson 1901 census t aged 7 in an aslyum? why would this be Merry? thank you for all your help

Louisa married 1 Aug 1925 Register Office in the District of St Pancras Her middle name was Mary and she had an address at Leyton.

Ahhhhhhhh!!!! Now you have put me in the picture!! I spent ages looking at all the Rebecca's and ignoring all the Louisa's with a middle name or initial!!!! LOL What about this one? Louisa is slightly too old, but might she have knocked off a couple of years for some reason or other? For starters, she is the only birth reg for Louisa Mary Johnson roughly in the right time frame. Secondly her father is the right name and a Dock Constable.
