Does anyone have the 1861/1871 Scottish census who would kindly look up the McCulloch family for me in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire

James McCulloch and wife Marion McCulloch there should also be a son David McCulloch age 4. I would really grateful if anyone could help me, Thankyou.

I have tried Scotlands people but there is several James McCullochs on the index and i dont want to waste credits going through them all, so i was hoping someone might have the census's and be able to look-up for me, i would be very grateful.

Hi Debbie, Using the freesearch on SP for 1861 and 1871 census shows there is one David McCulloch age 5 in Kilmarnock in 1861 and David McCulloch age 15 also in Kilmarnock in 1871 census. There are also 6 Marions and 9 James's in the area for 1861. and 5 Marions and 11 James's in 1871. Going for David should give you the correct family. Liz

I didnt know there was a free census search for 861/1871 on SP i have been using credits to view indexes, Thankyou

Hi Debbie, Ha, but there's a catch. You need to use your credits to view. The freesearches only give you the total number of hits. Liz Do you have James and Marion in 1881? Liz

No i dont have James and Marion yet in the 1881, I have David McCulloch in the 1881, married and living in Glasgow then.
