On the Hugh Wallis site for IGI Batch Numbers there is a special section for: Special (Mixed Location) Batches. These contain parishes that are not located on the IGI in their correct locations and some have been badly mistranscribed. Amongst the section for Batches Extracted from Irish Civil Records I have picked out the following to save you hunting though all the batches individually for English ones. I can find just these 4. C 391306 SUFFOLK bt’s and some parishes M 047661 NORFOLK Marriages eg Earseomland, Norwich etc M 048011 NORFOLK Marriages eg Eigham….Antrightrnorwich etc M 011681 WARWICKS eg Asonon-Juxta, Birmingham etc Apart from the Irish extracted batches there are 3 more sections Batches extracted from Dr Williams non conformist registers Batches extracted from BT’s for all of Suffolk Batches starting with the letter T Go to this address to find the section, remove brackets first. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb(.)com/~hughwallis/IGISpecialBatches.htm#PageTitle Also when using the normal Hugh Wallis search: Some batches relate to more than one town, parish, church or chapel and are identified as such by ** beside them in the county pages. Clicking on the ** will display a page for that batch listing all the locations that were found therein. The two stars above are blue and have an underscore between them. GR won't allow this to be reproduced???? strange site lol. Happy hunting Kat
