Pokesdown is currently part of Bournemouth, but is regularly considered Christchurch on the census records. Merry

Aaaaah now they're born in Dorset ! Well the area actually moved from Hampshire to Dorset in 1971, maybe it used to be in Dorset before ?! Anyway, thanks yet again Merry! Once I've got all my census data straight (and in some areas I have a choice of families still), it'll be back to the library fiche reader again to get the all important proof (I've learnt the hard way...).
