Hi linda I,ve just had a look see and they are now just showing as England & Wales BMD index. this appears to be the full index BUT dont know if still free to search as i have Ancestry subs. Shirley

Lindy The freebmd records for births/marriages and deaths go up to around 1910 for each type of event,though some years are covered better than others. The same applies to the freebmd via ancestry or freebmd*org As mentioned above,you really need to check the beta index. I know you asked about births earlier in the week,if you go to the freebmd*org homepage there is a link to tell you how complete each year is for each type of event.(freebmd is sponsored by ancestry) Trawling is a pain i know,but it really is the only way post 1910,and gives more chance of a result for pre 1910 searches. hi can someone please tell me what year the death records go up to on free bmd. i am looking for a death between the years 1930 and 1950 in the lancashire are would thes be available love linda x x
