I ordered 3 certificates online on 21 April and the despatch date was estimated as 16 May. My certificates ordered in March due to arrive on 17 April, arrived about 4 days late but I'm still waiting for one to arrive that I've not chased up yet. Claire

I orederd three certs on the 21st and the expected date of despatch is 17th May so they aint getting any quicker. Shirley

Hi Carole, I ordered mine by post about the 4th of april considering easter was inbetween i got mine thursday last week so from them receiving the order to me receiving the certs took about 2 weeks

Carole, if it is really urgent you get them before next week you could order them priority despatch, although it costs quite a bit more. Priority service: orders will be despatched the next working day following receipt of your application, if ordered before 4.00 pm. Full Certificate of birth marriage and death (priority service): £23.00 each So if you really want them for next week, you can get them! Kate.

Oh dear. Last time I ordered some which is quite a while ago now, they said a week and they arrived in 4 days. It's my own fault, looks like another holiday is on the cards then! Thanks for replies. Carole xx

They're normally arriving 2-3 days after the despatch date. I think the moral of the story is - get the cert /then/ book the holiday :)

i think that is pretty good - considering there is a bank holiday too. they are not arriving on time at the moment so i wouldn't hold your breath

I ordered some certs just before easter and was shocked to learn they would take 15 working days to arrive! This makes it 9th May. I've booked a holiday next week to do some research and really need them. I wondered what the chances are of them arriving sooner, has anyone ordered lately? I'm soooo disappointed. Carole xx
