i have got some names of my family tree but i don't know which one is my grate grandad's,i have got joseph 1867,william1858,charlotte1865,gertrude 1895,marther1873,mary e 1860,and rosella 1871,my grandads name was roland if that is any help he was born in liverpool 1911 give or take a year, and his oldest child was joseph 1949 all named thwaites,thankyou for you help,as my grandad didn't say much about his family when he was alive.cheryl |

The way to get your great-grandfather's name is to look on your grandfather's birth cert. As your grandfather was born 1911, he won't be on the 1901 census with his dad. |

This is the only one that comes up on the Index. To find his birth cert you will need to go through each quarter of the Free BMD images I think. Name: Roland George Thwaites Year of Registration: 1909 Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun District: Malling County: Kent Volume: 2a Page: 810 |
