No......it's curiosity really. A man married my gran bigamously (I mean he was the naughty one!) Now I find his brother married this Wrightson lady also bigamously (It must have run in the family!) I was just trying to see what sort of family she was from, without spending any money! LOL. I had thought it would be quite simple.............but............... Merry |

Merry Do we know if Thanet means the Isle of Thanet, or is it a district? I ask because there are only 58 people listed as living on the Isle in 1901 and most of them seem to be patients and pupils at some school. Suzy |

Oops, no, that's the FreeBMD ref, so it's the district of Thanet, which covers: Acol, Birchington, Garlinge, Margate, Minster, Monkton, Northdown, Ramsgate, St. Lawrence, St. Nicholas at Wade, St. Peter, Sarre, Stonar, Westgate on Sea. Merry |

Merry I have just checked. Thanet is a registration district covering a large area around Margate and Ramsgate. Will have another look for her. Suzy |

Merry I have found this family. No Emily junior, but it looks promising, since the couple got married in 1897, and have two boys younger than Emily would be. Also, the wife is called Emily Rosa too!! Merry I have found Emily Howard and Alfred Wrightson on the 1891, and then checked their parents on the 1901. Emily Rosa is not living with either Granny. Curiouser and curiouser... Suzy |
