IGI places?

I'm looking for some rellies all born in Hindolveston, Norfolk. I've looked at IGI & can't find the village - any clues please? ..............Sarah :-)

Thanks for looking Lizzie but the village does exist (even now) I just can't find it on IGI (the one you suggested isn't there either) :-) Sarah

I'm afraid very few Norfolk parishes are covered by the IGI.

Yep, the place does exist but the Norfolk churches mostly havent handed over records to the IGI Im afraid. Who are you looking for?

The IGI doesn;t have every parish and it is particularly sparse with Norfolk. There is SOME Hindolveston information on this site: www.genealogy.doun.org/transcriptions/index.php click on Parishes to find it. But if you want parish records, you will need to visit the Norfolk Records office or order film at your nearest LDS centre. nell

Thanks Cynthia, I went off to look at genuki & got waylaid - they've got a few of my people - yipee! funny - I looked at familysearch.org a few months ago & forgot it was there since I discovered Hugh Wallis.. Will have to put it in favourites! Thanks again Sarah :-)
