Dea Well done. I have a huge number of missing folk on various censuses, but yesterday I managed to find a family in 1861 (where I seem to have lost most of them!) and the info on that has led me to find some further information, baptisms, etc. So I know the feeling. YYYEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Hi Dea Well done you. It is easiy to see how an R can be mistaken for a K , although haven't seen your image. It is a great feeling tho' when you have been searching for such a long time keeps you up there a bit longer!!! Kat :)

Hi Dea, I found relatives last week, for about two years I had been looking for my Great Grandfather, who on all certifcates had been Edward George. I found him on a census as George Edwin!! I know that he sometimes used his middle name. I would never ever had found him if it wasn't for my Gramps cousin writing to me with the names that she remembered, from this I was able to do a census search but most of the names that she had provided were middles names also so to some degree, it was all pure fluke! Yep, I also feel like I've want to tell everyone, I think we all share some allegance on this site so I bet we're all excited for you! Well done Dea and congratulations! xx
