I would have thought any variation of Catherine, Kathleen, etc etc I have several who appear on the census as Kitty and all but one is a Catherine of some sort. The odd one out was registered as Kitty! Merry |

Jess , This is for a Haley birth about 1930 . I have trawled trrough births but can,t seem to find it . Found all the other children form 1926 all the way to 1945 Cath |

Jess , The children were born 1926 , 29, 30?32 34 36 38 40 41 and 45 . This info came from my uncle , all the other years of birth match exactly . I can,t even find a marriage for her either . cath |

Have you checked all the Haley births around 1930 (regardless of forename) to see if there are any others with the right mum's maiden name?? In case she wasn't a C/Katherine, at all. Also, if you know what time of year Kitty was born, and if the births on each side of her were in the same district, it might be worth trying the local reg office, but only if you want to actually buy the cert!! Merry , They were all born in Tynemouth district or Northumberland South { reg districts changed } . I have looked at every Haley bith regardless of first name . Its doing my head in . There is one thing i have'nt tried yet though . The haley name has been spelt different ways over the years Haillay /Haley . Back to tawling the index for me Thanks every one for your input , she has got to be somewhere . Cath |
