I wondered if anyone would mind searching the 1871/81 census for this family in Banbury, Oxfordshire. TAYLOR on the 1861 census: Richard 31- Carpenter Ann Elizabeth George Richard Henry 2 Also a 1841/51 census for this family as they are in the same road and a carpenter too so I think the two Richards could be Father and Son and thought an earlier census could confirm it; Richard - 62 Martha Charlotte Thanks Bev ( I do have access to 1837online so don't mind doing searches for any one) |

Thanks Tom, you're a star. it's funny but this family had been a mystery for years as we never had any information, and I grew up in this area not realising that I walked the streets where my ancestors once were. I was literally in a street the other day where I have today found out that my ancestors lived there. Although, I moved away, I have just bought a house to rent in the town so maybe it was meant to be. Nostalga! Please let me know if I can help you in anyway. Kindest Regards, Bev |
