HI, CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIND THE DEATH RECORD OF MY GRANDMOTHER 'ANNIE ELLEN CAROLINE CASTLE' BORN 1864 DIED AROUND 1943 ONWARDS SHE LIVED IN SOUTH LONDON BUT I DON'T KNOW WHERE SHE DIED. JUNE.

June how do you know she was still alive in 1943? Was Castle her married name? Georgina.

June there is an Annie Castle whose death was registered in Wantage March quarter 1944 aged 78 ref no:2c-450. Annie Castle died in Paddington June 1945 aged 84 ref no:1a-37. Georgina.

I have had this PM from June, ''HI GEORGINA, SHE WAS LIVING WITH FAMILY UNTIL THEN, AND EITHER BECAUSE OF THE WAR OR SHE WAS ILL SHE HAD TO GO AWAY, I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE. THE WANTAGE ONE HAS BEEN CHECKED OUT BY MY COUSIN AND IT WAS THE WRONG ONE, THE PADDINGTON ONE WOULD BE THE WRONG AGE. I HAVE BEEN CHECKING THIS OUT FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS NOW, REGARDS JUNE. PS. HER MAIDEN NAME WAS PAULL '' Georgina.

I too have had a PM from June, saying CASTLE was the married name. Please reply on this thread June, I am not the only person trying to help. Have you checked the images on Ancestry? Free to view. You will literally have to work your way through them The age on the second death mentioned above is only three years out, I would not disregard it yet, you do not know who registered the death and age of the deceased is solely reliant on information supplied by the informant. June there is a death for an Annie castle (middle initial V/W hard to read) in Wandsworth in the december quarter 1941 aged 78 ref no:1d-551. Was she known as Annie? I have looked for a marriage for an Annie Paull to a Mr Castle but cant find one. Georgina.

June the only other possible I can see is Annie Castle who died in Banbury March quarter 1945 aged 81 ref no:3a-2149. Georgina.
