Hello Peeps I have a Mary Ellen Brown c 1862 born Clapham, Yorkshire in the 1871 census living in Colne, Lancashire with her family. I also have Mary E Brown in 1891 census living in Colne, Lancashire with her family (and again in 1901). Same person as above. Question is - where was she in 1881? Can you find her? Snowdrops |

Hi, She was definitely born in Clapham, Yorkshire - most of the family come from there. In 1871 her family was: Father William Brown 1817 born Clapham, Yorkshire. Mother Alice Brown 1831 born Clapham, Yorkshire. Sister Alice Brown born 1831 Clapham, Yorkshire. Sister Annie Elizabeth Brown born 1867, Yorkshire. Isabella Brown born 1869 Colne, Lancashire Brother Richard Brown born 1865 Clapham, Yorkshire. Brother William H Brown born 1864 Clapham, Yorkshire Snowdrops |

Hi Again, In 1881 the Brown family was in Colne, Lancashire . Same family members as above and residence is Plush Laithe, Colne, Lancashire. Snowdrops |
