Hi Gerri, Wolstanton Created 1st July 1837. Abolished 1922 (incorporated into Stoke and Wolstanton district. Sub-districts : Burslem; Tunstall; Wolstanton. GRO volumes : XVII (1837-51); 6b (1852-1922). so far all been registered in Walsall, which is easy for me as I live there! never heard of wolstanton |

Linda My lot lived in walsall but most were reg in Wolverhampton! Have you found this? not here I hope it sint that place as I havent a clue where it is! lol Thanks for looking girls. Any idea where I go from here? Gerri |

Having looked closer it is Wolstanton 6b 94 there are several 4's further up the page that are the same |

I think it says Wolstanton 6b 9? possibly 0 I would put money on Wolstanton |

I think it says Wolverhampton too. I know my Walsall regs are 6b and wolverhampton isn't that far, unfortunately I couldn't read the last bit would guess at 94 Linda |

I think I have at long last found my John Poole born c1859 on 1837 but..... I 'THINK' it says wolverhampton 6b-9?(maybe wishful thinking) He's the second one up from the bottom on 1st quarter 1859. Hand written. If no one can read this, whats my next step please? Gerri. |
