Two friends have asked me to do a little research on their ancestors which I have been doing this evening and have found their respective ancestors living next door to each other in 1851 !

Wouldn't it be great if all our relies had lived in the same place, then we could carve up the research, each do a bit and then share?? If only. Jay

If they all lived in the same area, we could share out the work from the local pub over a few bevvies!

I'm researching my birth family and started late last year shortly after moving house (300 miles) Mum & Grandfather come from Lincs as do i,G G/P come from Berwick, and guess where i moved to? One building always seems to draw me towards it,last week i found out that my G G/F was born in that very building. Now that's spooky!!!! Glen

Here's another spooky one: A long time ago hubby bought a Bognor Regis postcard at a Norfolk Family History fair that showed (amongst other things) the house where his Dad was born. The postmark on the card was 1908. Yesterday he read the back of the card and has just noticed the surname of the person who wrote the card was an Arthur J PILCHER. The surname Pilcher (which isn't common) features on my hubby's family tree! When we looked this Arthur J Pilcher up on the census, he comes from the same area HIS Pilchers come from! So Arthur Pilcher must be some sort of rellie!!!! Hows that for a bit of serendipity and coincidence in genealogy! Cheers, Horatia

Dont you all think its weird the way the same dates keep popping up, 28th April is one in my tree as are 21st March 7th May ect;; I really find it fascinating, and it makes you wonder on the theory, do we come back as someone else in the same family ????? Babs
