Carol I believe that in 1832 only 'forty shilling freeholders' were entitled to vote, so that was in fact very few people, and all men of course. I will post some dates in a minute when I have found them! Olde Crone

I have just bought some for Somerset and it appears that only home and landowners were eligible to vote. So that rules out all our ag labs and servants.
