Joseph is doing me no favours at the moment. I wonder if he was at sea. He isn't in the 81 as far as i can find and Jane was widowed by 91,by then living in Lincoln. By 1901 she had remarried to William Andrew Hay,and added 3 more kids. Just the 71 causing probs,and some info today from another member throws both trees into confusion. Glen |

can't see him in 1871.........but I have found wife and kids in 1881 !! and by 1891 Jane is a widow ! |

Sorry Jess My mistake 1851 the family in Berwick 1861 Moved to Norfolk It's Joseph in the 71 i can't find. George c1810 etc found in 1871 but Joseph missing.along with George abt 1846. This is the right family, George c1810 remaried between 61 and 71. sorry Glen |

Joseph Hay abt 1847 Spittal Northumberland. In the 61 he is in Berwick with parents and married in 1877,just can't find him beyond the 61. Could well be a mariner/sailor by 1871. Thanks Glen |
