Just to thank Mery and Gail for their advice. Ive just received a mail back from Surrey archives telling me that it looks like the informant on the death certificate was in fact the landlord of the property where my Step grandad lived with 2 other lodgers plus this Mr Leslie Robins wife. At least that is settled. Thanks. |

As far as I know, most electoral rolls haven't been filmed so it is highly unlikely that you could order the film from your local library. I've looked at electoral rolls in archives and local history centres. Some have been bound and on shelves; others, more frail, have been in the original, falling apart binders and I've had to order them individually from a store room. nell |

My local library told me they can order microfiche or film (voters role)of the records from other libraries,never tried it but a friend asked while i was there one day. As i said maybe someone knows differently. Glen |
