Indian army c 1903 ?

A family friend has asked my help in trying to trace her ancestor a George ORE born 1903 whilst his father also a George was in the Indian Army. She believes that he would have either been born in India or in Croydon. and was the first of 7 children. I've checked the BMD betas and there does not seeem to be a george Ore born in 1903 in England , there is an Iremne Ore born in Croydon to a mother maiden anme Mudd in 1913 who may be one of the later siblings. Any ideas of how to find the birtyh record if he was in India at the time? Wade
