Meskell - where does it come from

Hi, it's me again, still trying to sort the ones out who went to India, anyway, does anyone know where the name Meskell came from, can't find many references, mainly modern day ones, thanks, (it's a surname)

Well, try googling it Tom with surname origins - I had a quick go and it appears to be Irish, but I only looked at first page!
