I feel really thick asking this question, because I'm sure there's a really obvious answer .... .... I can't find anywhere to put the occupation on FTM. Do I just put it in the notes? I thought there was bound to be a separate box for it. Many thanks Mandy in Somerset |

Hi Mandy :-D I have FTM 2005. There is a little box with a pen near the name - its in there, unless 06 is different. Liz |

Hi Liz :) I had 2005 as well, and just had the upgrade disc for 2006, so I think we're talking about the same thing .... when you click on the little pen, a box comes up entitled 'Edit Individual Details'. There's loads of stuff in there but - aaaaaargh - can't see occupation anywhere. Oh dear, mega-blonde day :(( Mandy xx |

Hi Robyne I'm getting more and more embarassed by the minute because I still can't find it :s I went into the pencil, and there are several tabs but none of them have a drop-down box. I'm sure that you and Liz are right, and that there will be a box for occupation somewhere (surely there has to be, if there's a space for someone's height and weight lol!). Mandy x |

Hi Mandy, You can create your own fields on the facts pages so do that if it doesn't turn up. I create 41 census, 51 census etc so all census info is displayed. Gwynne |

Thank you Gwynne, that would be my next move! But MEGA THANKS ROBYNE!! I FOUND IT YIPPEE!! I clicked on the pencil, went into the second tab, and then clicked on 'Add Fact' - that's where the dropdown menu comes up and you can select anything! Thank you so much everyone Very-Cheerful-Mandy xx |
