Search the service records of the Women's (later Queen Mary's) Army Auxiliary Corps on the National Archives Documents Online http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documentsonline/ They have 7,000 surviving records for the dates 1917 to 1920. So you probably won't get lucky, but it is worth a try! Kate. |

Yes, I just spotted that this morning - and was about to start a thread, when it dawned on me that I might not be the first, so I used the thread-search and found your thread. Here's their description: What's new? Women's (later Queen Mary's) Army Auxiliary Corps (1917-1920) Our latest collection features the service records of more than 7,000 women who joined the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (1917-1918), later Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps (1918-1920). Search on any or all of the following: * First name (and initials) * Surname (or surname at birth if different) * Date of Birth * Place of Birth |
