Very difficult. If they were male and over 21 they would be on the electoral register. If you have a specific address and only one year you can ask the relevant library to do a look up. But electoral registers won't have women at that date or anyone under 21. Street directories would have tradesmen who wished to be in them, or householders in posher areas - again it would probably be the man of the house, unless a widowed lady was the occupant. nell |
