How do you find a divorce please

Contact The Principal Registry of the Family Division Decree Absolute Section First Avenue House 42-49 High Holborn London WC1V 6NP They can search and send you a copy of the decree absolute and/or nisi, for a fee!! I forget the amount :o(( Merry

Yes, they will give the info to anyone, because the divorce record is a public document (like a will is). I think it's about £10 and I think they will search about 5 years. I'm sure if you google, you could find a phone number to check with them. Merry

On the same subject, how do we go about finding earlier divorces (1930's) and possibly in Scotland? Teri
