Can anyone help? My daughter was 18 on the above date and we are having a party next week and are putting together a file of her life and event that happened in her year of birth. Anyone know of web site that would have any information. Debbie

You can a newspaper for her date of birth - try having a google for birthday newspapers or something.

I know you can get cards with CD's in for different years of birth, it gives you info on what happened that year and on the cd is a list of all the number 1's for that year.

I have a programme on CD called ' the year you were born '........ but I'm NOT sure that it comes up this way and I have noticed it's got mostly info on USA etc .... so not really appropriate for any one other than American's ! I'll have a look at it for you ..... Elaine ;-) You would normally put the person's name and date of birth in and it throws up a Certificate with all the related info on, that you can print out and give as presents..

It's NOT letting me copy and paste the other info it has thrown up .... I'll keep trying Sorry, it's NOT letting me do anything else.

try googling ''on this day''. There's a BBC page where you can put in a date and it comes up with news itms from that date. The set for Feb 13 looks a bit dire, but you may be able to find other more cheerful sites elsewhere in the ''hits''! Christine

Yep, the News for 1988 isn't good .... the Plane Crash at Lockabie took place ...:-( I couldn't find anything 'nice' to pass onto you - sorry. Elaine ;-)
