Attestations papers are the forms the men would have to fill in and sign when they joined up. Some are very informative (name, age, place/dob, next of kin, previous service etc). Not sure what that book will contain - whether it's just a list of names and dates or the full transcribed Attestations. Are you able to contact the Vendor to ask? Leah |

Hi, could anyone explain what this is please? I have found on e-bay a book on these for the regiment my great grandad was in, and was thinking about getting it. |
