Can anyone help? Rosie had a son named William Lister and we thought she was married to Bert, however family memories don't recall Bert just this guy called Ernie. Rose died about 1962 and was born about 1878. Had two sister Lillian and Emily. Bert was one of three, born before 1878 to John and Mary Lister. Can anyone clarify which man she was with? Or was she married twice? Thanks

Was Rose originally from Blackpool? Just wondering which area she was likely to have married in.

There are no Lister/Patterson marriages between 1912 and 1920 (inc) Merry

To find her death you would have to search the GRO index for 1962 and then working outwards, for whatever name you believe she died with. Note there are a lot of ways of spelling Patterson. (two T's, ison, isen, etc etc) The GRO indexes are free to search on Ancestry at the mo. Merry

And he was born in Leeds 9 b 750, but still can't find his mother. Not asure where she was born which doesn't help much
