I've trawled through ancestry and haven't found anything , I'm looking to see if I can find out if Elizabeth Hutchinson b 1846 Bridlington, married at any time -in 1851 she was a servant but can't find her after that - maybe because she moved area or married. Any one offer any options I could try please?? Cheers Deb

You can check Freebmd. If there's no marriage on that, you'd need to go through the complete GRO marriage indexes which are free on Ancestry at the moment. nell

http://freebmd.rootsweb(.)com/ skip the brackets ! When ther first page shows scroll down and then click on SEARCH on left of page. Depending on the name you are looking for there is no real need to define a town or county. Have to say this site can be extremely busy from about 10a.m. to 10 p.m and will take considerable patience to get results you want. From 11.p.m it is usually not so bad. You should also be not too surprised if in early years you get a reply 'Not Found' as this site is manned by volonteers and the register is not too complete. Only info available, by the way, is from Jul 1837 to about 1912.

Is this her in 1851? HO107/2367 f20 p75 Living Queen St, Brid. Ann Ellen Hutchinson abt 1843 Bridlington Quay, Yorkshire, England Daughter Elizabeth Hutchinson abt 1806 Bridlington Quay, Yorkshire, England Wife >>> Elizabeth Hutchinson abt 1846 Bridlington Quay, Yorkshire, England Daughter Thomas Hutchinson abt 1850 Bridlington Quay, Yorkshire, England Son William Hutchinson abt 1802 Bridlington Quay, Yorkshire, England Head William Hutchinson abt 1839 Bridlington Quay, Yorkshire, England Son If so, she was still living at home on the 1861 but not on the 1871, therefore assume she married between 1861 and 1871
