Norfolk population numbers - 1800s

someone posted a site the other week that had a link to populations of Norfolk villages. For the life of me I can't find it now - can anyone remember it of did anyone note it down? CHeers. Zoe

Gawd, I saw that only yesterday - I will have a quick look. By the way, snow has melted, though the skies are black at the moment!

Nope But the National Index of Parish Registers for Norfolk has the 1831 populations for each village. I like Norfolk records, but sometimes wish there weren't quite so many little villages.

Erm, my neighbours - Id blow them coastwards if I could. I will get the rest of the town out for you though. When I took Ralph out for a walk it belted down as sleet - we were both soaked and it was SO cold and windy. Did you decide where you are staying?

I did, Heather, I did. I love Norfolk, full stop. Its records are some of the best in England. The churches are brilliant, the people are lovely. Just a shame my ancestors couldn't earn a decent wage there.
