I seem not to be able to find a lot of people on the 1891. Was it particularly mistranscribed or is part of it missing? I have even had people on here try to help and not be able to find my families either. Yet I have found them on the 1901. Is anyone else finding this? Please put me out of my misery!!!! |

Sorry Zoe I hit the wrong key. Looking for Henrietta Fuller b. 1844 Romford Essex wife and Thomas b. 1844 Landon Hills Head and family. I have to tell you other people have not been able to find them, so if you can't they just are really hiding somewhere. I just suddenly found my YARROWS under Gerrow, and also under GILLOW in 1881. Perhaps an easy name to mistake. I had been trying what I thought was every thing and then suddenly they pop up. Thanks for looking. Maggie. |

Thanks for looking for me Zoe. I went to bed over here too. I am just having general trouble with finding people on the 1891. It must be that it is the most badly mistranscribed of them all!! Have to get inventive now!!! |

Maggie I can't find people in 1841, 51, 61,71,81 or 1901, not just 1891!!!!!!!!!! But having had a lot of experience looking at census pages I must say that for every dozy transcriber who can't tell that a wife is called Jane and not James and that Camligger is obviously Cambridge, there must be some geniuses about. Some pages look as though a drunken spider has tapdanced on them after dipping all 8 feet into an inkwell! nell |

Maggie I just put Henrietta born 1840 plus or minus 5 years Essex and then looked through the names Deller seemed a possible mistranscription of Fuller. I have saved the image message me if youd like it. Sue |
