	This rings a bell??? If his body was not recovered there may not be a death cert. Have you tried the marine deaths on 1837online (comes under Overseas) Merry

Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 9 Send Message	Can anybody tell me how to find the death certificate of a relative who died at sea. His name was Robert Sinclair and he was a recorded as a 'mariner' on his marriage certificate. He died in the Atlantic in 1854 - I do not have the name of the vessel he sailed on. Thanks.
