Possibilities: 1. Adopted into another family. 2. Staying with relatives on census night. 3. Died. 4. Ran away from home! 5. No longer living at home for some reason. 6. No longer using his original surname. 7. No longer using his original first name. 8. Any combination of the above! |

Having had lots help from Bernice have tracked huge part of my tree, however one bit confuses me. There is mention on the 1881 census that my great grandparents had 2 children named john and james both aged abt 0. however there is no sign of john on the 1891 census. Does this mean he passed away and if so why can i not find his death record. searched all through. any ideas? |
