address search.. help!!

1902 electoral roll and/or street directory would possibly list your gt grandfather - but you'd need to contact a records office/library/local history centre to get it looked up and you'd need an address as they aren't searchable by name. Addresses on marriage certs are sometimes misleading, as they were often just for convenience of having the banns called. nell

i`ve found my grt granparents marraige details.. 1901.. 4 quarter, is there any way i can find out where they lived in 1902, my granfather was born & married from a address i have from a bmd cert. my grandfather was born 1907... any help would be great.. sharon
