spoke to my sister this p.m and my nan died before 1979 and they didnt tell her daughter that her mum had died so sorry for confution angie x

yes found lilly her daughter she died jan quater 1979 born 1917 angie x

just checked birth year and i dont think thats my alice her maiden name was timmis back to the drawing board for me thanks for trying angie x

the pages go in alphabetical order so you can soon see if pages missing. If they have been mistranscribed on Ancestry index BMD (I persume thats where you where looking) go to 1/4 thats ok click on it then click on year at top of page then what 1/4 is missing then letter then just go through image pages until hopefully you find page. if missing you will have to go on 1837 site £5 for 50 credits I found my missing pages on there Jeanette http://www(.)ancestry(.)co(.)uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx remove brackets just incase you wasn't looking on Ancestry

If you have searched the indexes there should have been 4 quarters for each year. If you kept a note of what quarter and what year you looked at you should be able to tell if any were missing? Suzanne

despratley looking for my nans death have looked on ancestry between 1979-82 her daughter died 1979 and they never told her cus it would of upset my nan,this is the story my sister told me yest,her daughter was handicaped and in a special hospital so my nan was still alive in 1979 but we moved to wales in 1983 and know she had died by then are ther pages missing from theses year for the name alice maud gibson she was born around 1884 in cannock birmingham and know she lived all her life in aston i would not know if there were pages missing PLEASE HELP thank you angie x
