York probate registry will send you a copy. You can't search online, unfortunately. You need to know the date of death and any other information. The search and the will cost £5.00 and it is by snail mail only. Ian |

Hi Can anyone tell me if you can research wills online? I have looked at the National Archives site and they only go up to 1858. I need to look for one about 40 years later. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks Jayne |
