Hi All, I just found lout ast night that Leeds City Council have a list of absent voters for world war I. If you log in at www(.)leeds(.)gov(.)uk and in their search facility put in absent voters a list will come up with that title - it holds a database of 50,000 names. I then wondered just how many other councils do this? It may be the one mention some of you need to set you on your way. What was so interesting was not only did it have their names but also holds their number, rank and unit. Good hunting everyone!! Kim |
