I need help please with 1900s adoption

The birth certificate will be in her original name. You cannot find an original birth cert from an adopted name. Before 1927 there were no formal, legal adoption arrangements anyway. nell |

How do I find the biological parents of someone who was adopted in the 1900s. I know her adopted parents names and that she was born in Leeds, will there be a birth certificate anywhere? |
