I think of age is just a short way of writing of full age. nell

Was wondering if anybody can give me some help please....I have noticed the following on some marriage certificates and parish register entries; under the column 'age' I have some that state 'full age' and some that state 'of age'. I assume that 'full age' refers to being aged 21 or over; does 'of age' mean the same but worded differently, or is it referring to a different age?
