help with Windsor family

Having found my other greatgrandparents through very helpfull people on this board I have another question Edward Windsor b 1831 Bunbury Cheshire, Ann Windsor b 1833 Bunbury, Martha b 1856 Spurstow, Ann b1858 and Alice b 1860 are on all census except 1861 Edward was Edward Wierson nephew in 1851. have tried all spellings, first names etc and now I am really stuck!! Join the club! I doubt if many of us have all our ancestors on the census consistently through the years. I have a missing William Matthews in 1881, a James Broad who disappears after 1871, his brother George Broad who disappears after 1881 and various other individuals who go awol on various other censuses. My husband's family are gone in 1861, the year which if I could only find them, would solve so many mysteries! I think in most cases its just very bad transcribing, possibly because some of the census pages are virtually illegible. nell |
