Just in case it helps? 1841: Blakeney William Wells - 45 Mary - 45 Maria - 15 Mary Ann - 13 Rebecca - 9 (the image is very faint...this could be Robert) There is a Robert age 15 in Blakeney (Head Ann Wells)

1851 census has this - image says Robert is 'just' grandson Mary Wells abt 1793 Blakeney, Norfolk, England Wife Blakeney Norfolk Robert Wells abt 1833 Blakeney, Norfolk, England Daughter (image says Rebecca) >> Robert Wells abt 1844 Blakeney, Norfolk, England Grandson-in-law (image says grandson) Wm Wells abt 1794 Wissmsett, Norfolk, England Head In your original message, did you mean you found this info in 1851 ( you wrote 1861)

Perhaps if you gave your husband's gggrandfathers name it might help...perhaps someone can find him on 1841? or later? Suzanne

I still dont really understand? But I guess you are tracking this Robert Wells? Have you found him on the 1851 census? You seem to be going in the wrong direction...lol...usually you track backwards to find ancestors? Suzanne

Hope you dont mind Eilleen it gets a bit confused when all scruched up: getting confused can anybody help please Trying to confirm my husbands gggrandad. Born in whissonetts norfolk in 1794. I came across a daughter called robert on the 1861. Image says she is rebecca age 18. There is nothing before and after this, she just disapeared. Also on the 1861 census is robert wells (grandson in law) b1844 in cley, norfolk. In 1871 robert was in london at harrisons wharf. In 1881 he lived in blakeney, norfolk (wife - jemina) and his grandfather and his father in law. His grandfather died there the rest were still there in 1901. Robert and jemina didnt seem to have any children can anybody make any sense out of this
