Ever heard the name Thurea. I haven't. I've look at the image and admit it does look like that to me. Can someone have a look at the 1901 census fo me. She is the wife of John Carroll born 1850 Lambeth, Surrey. Thanks Linda

Births Jun 1853 Ballin Thurea Beaminster 5a 364 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marriages Mar 1894 Heath Thurea Stoke D 5b 576 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deaths Mar 1896 Smart Thurea Amy 4 Brackley 3b 6 Georgina.

The 1901 census site has her as: Name Age Where Born Administrative County Civil Parish Thurra Carroll 44 Lancs Manchester London Lambeth I'll have a look ar the image when ancestry finishes loading it

It's badly written! Thurcea? Thursea? I think that the person that wrote it needs to go back to school to learn how to write.
