my dad was married before i have his soldiers sevice book his name was edward henry scott born 1/8/1915 but it says in the book he was born in 1913 i know he could have lied about his age he joined the army in 1935. His wife was glayds and two children are named as jean and sydney his mother name was emma dale and his brother was sydney scott but i can only find my dads birth cert with mothers name of poole he was born in wolstanton staffs is this in the parish of burslam( as stated in his service book) have only justed started his tree it is complicated just at the start any help please regards carole --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Where have you got the info regarding name from?, something isnt right, did his mother marry , perhaps for a second time? |
