Zoe, hi. I didnt know that, from what ive read, it certainly didnt mention any limits, just says you can look for a whole year for £50. Just shows you ., always read the small print before parting with your cash. TED XX

Ted The 'unlmited access' doesn't include census or other indexes - just the normal BMD from the GRO. You also have to comply with a fair usage policy which I think limits the number of look ups to about 300 a month so it's in no way related to teh word unlimited Zoe

jennifer and alice, Ive just read it again and seems a bit suspicous as they say its nsot advertised on their web site. Sounds fishy dont you think? alice, Im not sure what you mean but the wording of 'unlimited access' TED XX

Ted, hang on til the end of today in case we all get it free with ancestry. 1837 has been sending out so many special offer mails it would seem they are trying to get people signed up before they realise ancestry has it free with your sub. Fingers crossed.

I believe that in the small print 'unlimited access' has a slightly different meaning ( it isnt unlimited access...)

Yes, I think it is right, I have the same offer, and read quite a few on here have, but everybody seems to be holding back for the Ancestry BMD promise. jennifer.

looks good to me. that is unless its a hoax. £50 for a whole year, search as often as you want, when you want. Well worth £50 if its right. TED XX
