My gt gt grandfather left England in the early 1910's to mine opals in Australia. Just as he was about to bring his wife and 2 children over to join him, he died. Has anyone any idea how I can track when he died? I don't have a clue where in Australia he died. Thanks Clare |

Have a google search, theres bound to be a lot of info on the web. In fact I just did it and it came up with literally thousands of sites, so if I were you add the word 'history' to a search as there was a very good site about the beginning of opal mining. |
