My problem is not tracing relatives prior to 1901 but after if my grandfather was born in 1905 and i dont know his parents name how can i trace where he lived or any siblings? Annette |

GRO Reference for his Birth Certificate is Name:Sharp, George Ernest Year: 1905 District:Southwark Quarter: Jan-Mar Volume:1d Page:56 Obtain Certificate and this will give you parents names including Mother's Maiden name. Then you will need to find a marriage for his parents. Joy |

Anne You get Certificates from the General Registry Office. You can apply by post or online (will need a Debit/Credit Card for online application). Online £7.00 for Full Certificate. www*gro*gov*uk (replace * with a dot.) By Post £8.50 by post. Have the postal address if you want it. |
