My grandfather was born in Lancashire, Bootle in fact. I have at last found him on the 1901 census, thanks to the help received from the members of genesreunited, he was down south by that time. Does anyone know the various districts of Bootle, so that I can, hopefully, narrow down my search. Unfortunately, I do not have names of either of his parents so i am going to be looking for a needle in a haystack. Any helpful hints will be VERY MUCH appreciated. Kathlyn |
