I have just found an ancestor,Joesph Arbon, on the 1901 census living in Northamptonshire,He is married to Priscilla,but he has 2 children living with him,listed as son and daughter but they have the surname Allen. Can someone do a look up for me to see if these children are step children and if priscilla was married before. Thanks in advance |

Possible 1891 for Priscilla Name: Allen, Priscilla Age: 21 Estimated birth year: abt 1870 Relation: Servant Gender: Female Where Born: Norths, Woodford Civil parish: Denford Ecclesiastical parish: Denford Town: Denford County/Island: Northamptonshire So the only way to find out the father for the Allen Kids is the BC. You would need the MC to prove this is the right Priscilla. |

Gven the size of Woodford, i would have thought it unlikely there were many priscillas born there that year! |

1881 census is free to search on Family.org where you should find Priscilla and her family. (Allen seems to be her maiden name not another married name ) |

Just had a look and maybe they were all Joesph's children?as Isabella was the eldest born 1890 and she is an Arbon whereas Harry and Florence are Allens but born after her...? |
