Thanks Michele. The census doesn't reach as far as my family but there is other useful info for Beds/Bucks on the site and the newspaper link just reminded me that the Leighton Buzzard Observer is being indexed on line (1861-63 currently). Lyla |

Hi all, If anyone is researching in the Leighton Buzzard area then this website is a must included are transcriptions of the 1841 & 1861 census's amongst other things. Also covered are Eggington, Heath, Reach & Stanbridge. Well worth a look as I've already found some of my lot. www(.)leighton-linslade(.)com/index(.)html Hope this helps some of you Michele |
